St. Lorenzen Shooting range: not for the faint of heart
In addition to aesthetics and funcionalitly of the materials used, indoor shooting ranges must meet considerable operating guidelines and regulations, especially when it comes to acoustical treatment for sound attenuation.
The ceiling and wall systems that have been installed do not differ visually from "normal" acoustic panels, however, they have sophisticated built-in systems such as protection against impact damage to provide the highest safety standards for people inside and outside the range, but to protect the installations, as well. The high absorption value of the gravel pavement used offers a significant reduction in noise levels, too.
Particular attention was also paid to noise reduction when designing common areas. Perforated metal and wood ceiling panels provide an attractive finish system as well as superior sound absorption.
decor provides interior design services on a turnkey basis, excluding systems design and installation.
